When Life Gives You Lemons

As the saying goes, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade! After a few setbacks, Our Mother's Home is getting closer to finishing their new transitional living building so that they can expand their services and help more young mothers in the community. Please join us at Palm City Brewing on Sunday, August 20th, for National Lemonade Day, to celebrate resilience, compassion, and the transformative power of community support.

Unleash your creativity in the "Lemon Dessert" contest, judged by 5 local "celebrities", with a fantastic ultimate grand prize winner and smaller prizes for the runners up. Just $25 gets you entered into this limited participant contest. Bake a dessert (cookie, cake/cupcake, pie, or other) that has some quantity of lemon in it and 5 judges will try each dessert anonymously. There will be one winner for each category and one grand prize winner. Our grand prize winner will receive a reward valued at over $500!

If baking isn't your thing, try your hand at the Lemonade contest! For only $10, you can mix up a refreshing and unique, non-alcoholic version of lemonade. We will provide you with a 1 gallon pitcher and all you have to do is bring that pitcher back on the day of the event with a cold version of your lemonade concoction! People from the public will be able to taste test your lemonade and vote for their favorite. There will be a "People's Choice" lemonade award and prize!

To add to this already fun event, Palm City Brewing will have a citrus-flavored beer on tap AND they'll be doing a Sunday Brunch with mimosas! $1 from every drink purchase will go towards Our Mother's Home!
